A corporate distributed network may be deployed as a physically independent network with "point-to-point" channels using IP-tunneling.

 

Operators establish a wireless connection between each branch with its nearest base station and transfer all the traffic between branches through its (operator's) high-speed channels between base stations, regardless whether they are wired or wireless. Such a network should be built as an IP network, allocating the functions of a VoIP gateway to each unit, if the task of public telephone network access is to be solved.
